the ten commandments’ source is the torah which is also known as the five book of moses. the ten commandments has multiple recitations within the torah. further, with respect to the ten commandments, there were two sets of tablets upon which they were written. further, there were two versions of the ten commandments.
the historical nature of both the multiple recitations and tablets will be explored through the blog.
