the answer to this question is not simple. the torah has two versions of the ten commandments. different religions have different versions.

reduced to the minimum, they were the moral code of conduct for a newly freed nation. they were provided to them by the creator of the universe who established an everlasting covenant with them.

this project asks you “what are the ten commandments to you?” it is this writer’s contention that they are only as meaningful as we make them to be. this project is intended to increase both your knowledge and understanding of the ten commandments.
