ouch! damn you robert f kennedy, jr! just when i thought i was out of posting on covid-19, you brought me back.
your little kerfuffle would appear to be the end of the world for you given the press and your liberal colleagues. the media- mainly for eyeballs- and the democratic politicians-mainly for your president hopes- have unfairly labeled you. when the words chinese, ashkenazi jews, bioweapons and viruses are combined together, your get something explosive. the scientific article you referred to i unsuccessfully tried to fathom, rather, my personal experience provides a unique perspective.
approximately a year ago in an open air event at my parents’ house, the following happened: a vaccinated and covid-19 infected ashkenazi jew encountered three three individuals: (a) an unvaccinated ashkenazi jew- who sat within three feet away; (b) a vaccinated half chinese/ half ashkenazi jew-who sat approximately six feet away; and (c) a vaccinated ashkenazi jew in his 90s, who sat approximately nine feet away.
who got covid-19?
the answer is both (b) and (c). the only person not getting infected was the unvaccinated individual who sat closest to the contagious individual. yes. you have to love the science of social distancing and vaccinations!
how could this have happened?
we live in the most dangerous of times. science-good, not so good, and totally bogus- is employed by those in power to create policy. likewise, there are those seeking to change policy who will likewise produce corrupted science to provide to government officials to justify corrupt policies. recently, we have witnessed a florida professor’s papers which reportedly included bad data and have been used with respect to advocate the release those who are criminally incarcerated. recently, at two esteemed institutions, harvard and stanford, were hit with scandals concerning questionable scholarship.
good science is good science. but what is “good science”? this is the true crisis with which were are confronted with.
sadly, robert f kennedy, jr.’s treacherous venture into the truth involved the doubled edged sword of science. in order to defeat bogus science and the policies relating to it, one must employ science to do it. in this circumstance, he employed at article which was surely to stoke accusations of anti-semitism. the reality is that the torah itself, if viewed in present day, has indicia of bioweapons. the torah documents numerous directed plague outbreaks; the most famous one being the tenth plague in the book of exodus. the bible stories, unfortunately, in history, has led to jews being accused of various disease outbreaks. these accusations, at times, translated into persecution.
in sum, had rjk jr. heard of my family’s get together, he would have perhaps pumped the breaks on the scientific paper he advanced. knowing the incendiary nature of his comment, he would have been better served with more data. unfortunately, this did not happen. rather, the political animals- those who willing to use bad science for their advantage- brought out their sharp knifes to wound mr. kennedy’s presidential ambition.
in the end, our society is best served more quality academicians educating the public on both the scientific method as well as critiquing newsworthy studies.
