in a nypost.com article, presidential candidate mr. vivek ramaswamy went old school. he, like the united states’ founding fathers, ventured back in time to the exodus and mt. sinai. in doing so, he produced his ten commandments for america.
mt. sinai- historically- represents the first moment a freed people embarked to create a new type of nation. it would be a nation governed by the ultimate authority, the create and master of the universe. this would be a country founded upon principals of justice and fairness for all individuals. no human being was to be exempt.
presidential candidate mr. ramaswamy has offered his version of ten commandments applicable for the present united states. i will go through each one with commentary.
- god is real
[perhaps, it is more appropriate is that god is essential. without god- the ultimate moral authority in the universe- there is a moral and value void. without a god, flawed humans with personal interests, corrupt agendas, misguidedness and evil would dictate world affairs without opposition.]
2. There are two genders.
[perhaps, it is best to say that there are no genders. gender is a “fiction” which has been used to create dangerous “legal fictions”. these “legal fictions” have been employed to enact irrational laws. these laws have been used to promote “thought crime”. in some countries, “misgendering” individuals has been both criminalized and weaponized. eliminating “gender” eliminates the problem. in essence, this country cannot be a country in which it is a crime to “think”, have an “idea”, or incorrectly address someone without sensitivity to the individual’s personal self-beliefs. rather than deal with a non-sensical “fictional” construct, the united states would be better with simply having two sexes, male and female.
3. Human flourishing requires fossil fuels.
[presently. fossil fuels are the perhaps the best and most efficient source of energy available. this source of energy should be part and parcel of a total energy strategy. reliance upon any one source of energy is both limiting and foolish. abandoning a reliable one is insanity. he should have added that there are ideologues pushing for green energy. essentially, energy strategy is a vehicle to impose their socialistic visions. their belief systems are so corrupt that they have abandoned both the realities and the science of alternative power sources.]
4. Reverse racism is racism.
[he should state that martin luther king jr’s declaration that we should be judged by the content of one’s character. reverse racism is as unjust as racism. we are a country of justice. further, our country is in serious need of character development in children. the democratic party’s agenda is essentially to normalize people who have no redeemable character. ]
5. An open border is no border.
[while we are a country with a history of taking in immigrants, the ability to do so must be done in an orderly fashion. we must prevent those unqualified from entering. individuals with questionable moral turpitude, terrorist intent, or seditious intent should not be welcomed. we cannot be like both the obama and biden administrations who put people in cages.]
6. Parents determine the education of their children.
[the bible is clear that parents bear the ultimate responsibility for their children. this responsibility, for many, constitutes a religious obligation. as such, the government should not interfere with it as it constitutes a violation of the parent’s first amendments rights. while the government should be concerned with safety- such as physical or sexual abuse- the government has no business advancing sexual orientation ideology aas well as other non-educational agendas.
7. The nuclear family is the greatest form of governance known to mankind.
[the bible clearly dictates the essence of family. man was to leave his home and find a woman to form a new relationship. abraham and sarah, one husband and wife, were the nucleus for the founding of a nation. solid and upstanding families are the building blocks for great societies and great governance. ]
8. Capitalism lifts people up from poverty.
[while capitalism is perhaps the best system to life people up from poverty, the system is being destroyed by cronyism and unfairness. federal, state and local business recently have done more to destroy the hopes and ambitions of entrepreneurs. american governments operate as enterprise destroyers. legislation must protect small and emerging businesses against monopolies and cronyism. todays small business may be the next apple, tesla or amazon]
9. There are three branches of the U.S. government, not four.
[perhaps 100 years from now, it will be recognized how the obama biden administration embarked on a level of corruption far beyond that of watergate. not only did crossfire hurricane spy on the opposition, the plumbers were on government payroll and worked under the color of authority.]
10. The U.S. Constitution is the strongest guarantor of freedoms in history.
[the founding fathers, inspired by the ten commandments and the torah, created a government which has the foundations of justice, fairness and freedom. in history, it is arguabley the ten commandments which has inspired and guaranteed more freedom throughout the world.]
