being honest with oneself and life is one of the hardest things to do. life is full of pain, regret and missed opportunities.

people often interact with questions such as “how are things are going?” many people respond that “things are going great. ” they respond that way even though they know it is not true. people often need the opportunity to share their true feelings. sometimes, this is only possible with someone who is close and understanding. these moments are one of the few moments to honest: the opportunity to reveal one’s pain and regrets. this truth telling can be cathartic.
